Definition
This laser is a high-performance, medium-power laser based on a fully polarization-maintaining fiber structure, capable of generating pulse widths in the picosecond (ps) to femtosecond (fs) range with a center wavelength around 2 micrometers (specifically 1970±10 nm). It is based on nonlinear effects in the fiber and mode-locking techniques. Through specific fiber design and pumping methods, nonlinear optical effects in the fiber, such as self-phase modulation and cross-phase modulation, are excited, combined with mode-locking techniques to generate ultrashort pulses.
